So excited to have you here!
Our search for great, affordable yoga shirts lead us to the realization that what we wanted didn’t exist. Soft, well-designed, so comfortable you could sleep in, practice in and even wear on a night out.
Our mission was clear - we had to make them ourselves!
Spiritive is inspired by adventure, creativity and personal transformation. It’s our way of paying it forward by creating and sharing positive messages through an item of clothing we need every day.

I fell in love with yoga in 2002, when I was introduced to the practice on a beach in Miami. I remember the flyer saying, yoga on the beach, sunrise, 6:30am. I was so intrigued to wake up in the morning and do a practice that benefited my spirit.
Over the next 15 years I practiced yoga on 5 continents, in cities like Capetown, Hamburg, New York, Los Angeles, Sydney, Istanbul and Milan. It wasn’t a consistent practice by any means, I’d take long breaks doing other forms of exercise, but what always stuck with me was the breath. I could breathe deep, anywhere in the world, close my eyes for a second and live in union ie. yoga.
The shirt that began it all.
9 years later after I completed my yoga teacher training in Istanbul I bought an amazing shirt. It was soft, cool and it had an awesome image of Ganesh. That shirt struck me, and I never forgot it.
I tried to start a t-shirt line then but it wasn’t the right time. I even went to a graphic design school in Manchester specifically to learn how to design t-shirts. When I got back life hit, jobs faded away and I was left not following up on my dream.
After attending two incredible personal transformation seminars it was clear the timing was right.
Since then it has been an incredible process, step by step, to where we are today.
